Good thing it's just me and the boys...

Today is french onion soup day. I needed bowls for the soup and I spent the last couple of days looking for them. One set that I found was oven, micro and dishwasher safe but they seemed small and they were boring white. Then I found some that I really liked. And I guess it's a good thing it's just me and the kids for dinner cause the soup barely filled two bowls...half way.

Question. The recipe said sautee the onions using a wooden spoon. I didn't have one...what difference does it make anyway?? Could that be why I barely had enough to fill one bowl???
