Recurring theme

While in Savannah this past weekend, we had a couple showings of the house. Hopefully the new year will bring us a buyer. We just need to find a buyer who can BUY. Here is the email from one of the agents from this weekend:

"Regretfully my clients were unable to make it to the appointment on Saturday but I previewed the home. I thought it was one of the best "Ardsley" area homes I have seen in a while. The layout was perfect with large bedrooms and great closet space. The kitchen was incredible and I loved that there was a large office room right off of it. I would like for them to see it for themselves. The only thing we are waiting to act on is the fact they are needing to sell their home and use the funds for the next purchase. I will call you for another showing appointment in the future."

Argh, this is like the 3rd couple that is interested but needs to sell their own home first. The 2nd couple from this weekend have a weird situation that is preventing them from buying for 5 months (I think they may have just started a new job), so they are interested in a lease/purchase. I don't think I'm up for that.

There is one buyer who I think would be perfect. They are from California and are considering taking a job at the hospital (maybe a Dr?) and they are first time home buyers. Perfect! That is if they decided to move to Savannah...and buy our house.

Who said selling a home isn't fun?
